The Meaning of Dudú (and why I changed my blog title)
After days of contemplating I finally decided to change the title of my blog. I liked Una Storia Semplice, but Dudú just sat there in my brain waiting to be used. Dudú is a name that I saw of a small caffé in Southern Italy. I laughed hysterically when I saw it for the first time since the translation in English obviously means Poop caffé. But before judging and discrediting the place completely, Marcello said that the word dudú has no significance in Italian, sort of like the billion non-dictionary words that we've created in the English language. I guess there is also a Spanish singer, as well as an Israeli and a few Brazilian soccer players with the name, it's a type of African soap, as well as a small town in Romania, who knew! So as a result and days of contemplation that's why I decided to change the name of my blog. I don't want my blog to be genre specific and rather just want to write about everything and anything that falls in-between nothing. The word is liberating and in the end might put a smile on your face.
